xbox1 harddrive

xbox seems to have locked the hard drive that is built in to it. can anyone tell me a good easy way to unlock it? i have the harddrive and a computer to do it.

Do you still have the XBOX that the drive came out of?

ya i have the xbox and i looked all around the internet but it requires alot of other things like a memory card for it and some kind of memory card to pc link cable i dont want to spend alot of money to ulnock 12GB i was just gona unlock it for my xbox 360 figured this place would know a good way to do it.

You can try the HOT SWAP method. I'm not familiar with this method but from what I hear it works... though only with XBOX versions 1.4 and below.

There are other options that unfortunately cannot be discussed here due to legal issues. I suggest visiting xbox-scene.com look through some of the tutorials they have. I think you'll beable to come up with something.
