Quick question! Building a new computer and everything is a go except for the HD. I want to move / relocate a HD from a older computer that has a O/S and a bunch of goodies on it that is running just fine to the new computer. Can i slap it in and fire it up or is ther something i must do first other than setting the bios to boot that drive. Will that work??? Any help!!!

Are you familiar with the term Drivers? The drive is full of the wrong one:)
You can probably do a repair install...

No that's not what i mean. The HD will come out (removed) of one system and install (put in ) into another system. There is nothing wrong with the O/S I just want to know if there is a correct way to do it. THANKS

Read the entire thread. It will NOT boot into Windows if you simply move it and try.
