I'm doing a new build and I've gotten to the stage where I need to check out the hard drive.
My system: Antec Sonoma w/650psu
MB - MSI K9N SLI Platium, nvidia nforce 570 sli chipset
Amd Athlon 64 x2 5200+ windsor 2.6GHz
Crucial 2- 1GB DDR2 PC2-8000, DDR2 1000
Graphics Card ATI All in Wonder X1900
Hard Drive WD Caviar SE16 500GB SATA
Optical Drive Sony Dru-810A
Sound Card Creative Sound Blaster X Fi Xtreme Gamer Fatality Pro
Monitor Sceptre LCD 20.1" DVI X20WG-NAGA
OS Microsoft Vista 64-Bit Ultimate
WD has a utility program called Data Lifeguard Tools that is suppose to be installed to check out the H Drive. The problem I have is WD does not have this utility ready for Vista.
My Question is weather I can install a Dos version or if I should just skip it and install the OS and take it from there?
Thanks for the HELP
