I just activated my new PC. I installed two SATA HDs. The first one was recognized and is working OK. I installed the OS to that drive. But my second drive is recongnized in the BIOS and in the Device Manager but not in the Windows Explorer nor on the My Computer. Any idea what the problem could be? My floppy drive is also giving me problems in that it kept saying to insert a disk although I've inserted three different disks. PC says this device is "working Properly". Perhaps there is correlation.

If the light on the floppy is always on, the cable is reversed.

Formatting the drive did the trick. While installing the OS, it asked to format the main drive but did not ask for the second. Wonder why.
Re: floppy not working. I forgot to connect the power. Duh!
Thanks
Windows setup cannot format anything but the system partition - using Disk Management to add drives and partitions is standard procedure.
