What does this error mean in a Warcraft Frozen Throne?

What does this mean?

QUESTIONS:

1.) What may have caused this?

2.) Is there a solutions to this problem?

i hope you guys can help me out, i can't play the game since i've installed it..

Here are my specs:
OS: Microsoft Vista
Memory: 512 Mb 2x
Processor: Pentium 4 3.06Ghz
Motherboard: Foxconn
Hardisk: 20Gb 2x

Tried reinstalling it?

I'll try to tackle question number 1 for you.

I hate to be the smartypants...and ultimately I may end up sounding dumb, but i'll give you the story behind your error in case you didn't already know.

Your error shows that some integer variable got caught in the act of dividing by zero...which...mathematically is an imposibility. One can divide 0 into 5 parts like this

0 / 5 = 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 which = 0

However, it is impossible to divide ANY number into 0 parts

5 / 0 = ?!?!?!@?#!?%#@@#?^?@$^?@?!?!#^%?!#^?~??EEKK!!@#$@#$

this is much like it is impossible to take the square root of any negative number which is raised to any even power including the number zero. At least....the numbers of such a result are dubbed "imaginary" and are always acompanied by the multiple "i" , which is, mathematically speaking, the square root of -1

Friendly programmers avoid dividing by 0 with use of test statements....but hey...we all get lazy sometimes....even Blizzard.

Warcraft III FT is by the way...probably my favorite game.



...aannyyyyways........yeh. There is your answer to question number 1.


oh and one other problem, Warcraft III has known incompatibility issues with Vista.

1.Naviate to the warcraft III installation folder. Right click the game EXE (Frozen Throne.exe),
2.navigate to the compatibility tab,
3.select the checkbox "Run this program in compatibility mode for",
4.Then select windows XP in the dropdown box.

(This is how to change compatibility in Windows XP .....with vista....I am as dumb as a sheep....or....one who hasn't touched it yet anyways....)

Yes, iv'e updated my driver same as the direct X, i just downloaded directx 9.0c

and downloaded 1.21a patch of Frozen Throne

The (INT_DIVIDE_BY_ZERO) still shows up.. do i need to reformat my PC?

Could my memory have been a factor to this application crash?

It looks like it's time to write down your account information and re-install.
Memory problems would be showing up in other contexts so that's unlikely until you do the software reinstall.
I would also run a malware check since something may have tagged you.

i saw this TOTAL VIDEO CONVERTER THING, and i guessed they had conflicts with Warcraft and i uninstalled TVC and now.. i'm happy that i have played Reign of Chaos and i'm now installing the Frozen Throne.. whooo! what a relief!
