Hey all. So, here's the scoop. My brothers computer died on him one night. Everything would power on, but the power light wasn't on and I wasn't getting anything on the monitor. So, I stripped it down to mobo and CPU and still got nothing. He bought a new mobo and CPU combo off on Newegg, a Foxconn mobo with a AMD Athlon 64 4000+. Also had to put my old Rosewill 450w powersupply in it. Put it all together and it's still doing the same thing. So I stripped it down to bare bones and still, gets power, but nothing comes up on monitor, not even bios. Did we get a bad mobo??? Is the Rosewill not good enough? Any help would be appreciated.

I'd suggest building the system with its bare bones out of the case, as in this thread

Is the Rosewill PSU you're using different to the one that was in the original system that failed to boot?

The PSU is different from the original one when it crashed. I'll try redoing everything tomorrow. I'll be back if it doesn't work, so don't forget about me.
