8600 Gt?

I've heard that Nvidia is going to be releasing a cheap DX10 option in video cards. This is really good for me since I can't afford an 8800 system, and I'm wondering when, if anyone knows, they will be releasing it. Also, exactly how affordable is it? And how does is stack up to the 8800 series? Thanks!

Maximum PC just did a review of a 'budget' card, the EVGA 8800 GTS and gave it a "kickass" rating of 9. I do believe they are out now but I haven't searched for one. They should be going for about $300 USD

I was actually talking about this (http://www.vr-zone.com/?i=4775) as an alternative to the 8800 series. I searched around and found out that it might be going for $180-$200 usd, but I'm wondering if anyone knows when it's gonna come out.
