Ok i started a new build... got everything hooked up and ready to power on and when i tried to boot it up.... it turns on for a sec and then shuts off ( so it wont stay on) anyone ever run in to this problem before?:confused:

We need full system specifications.
Do you have both the 24pin and 4pin power connections attached to the board?

no i do not have both attached its just the 24 pin attached, as far as my system goes here is a list

You need to plug in the square 4pin connection near the cpu socket.
