I am using flight sim 2000. I just got the saitek rudder pedals. Cant get them to work right. They test ok on the calibration test, but when I am flying they do not work..the rudders move my mouse back and forth but not the "ball", and my brakes don't work. Any ideas?

I am using the saitek X52 control and throttle.

it might be a problem with flight sim 2000, i assume its a new piece of hardware and both pedals and your yoke/joystick have separate USBs that plug into the computer.

it used to be that the pedals plugged into the yoke which then plugged into USB as one controller in 2 parts, i know on MS flight sim 1998 i couldnt get both to work in game as whatever first one it detects it thinks is the yoke and then the pedals dont work.

I am not sure if there is a fix or if this is the problem you have, but i know i have yoke and pedals on MS flight sim 2004 and it works fine but doesnt on 1998, so maybe buying the new one might be good.

there is also the free flight sim flightgear (in freeware frenzy section of this site) maybe you should try that to see if it is a controller problem or just your flight sim cannot cope with 2 USB devices. You dont want to spend money upgrading to MS flight sim X or 2004 only to have same probs.
