Lost Bookmarks

one of my brothers friends came over and decided it would be funny to delete alot of my things off of the computer i was able to get alot of the stuff back but the deleted all of my bookmarked pages of mozilla firefox does anyone know if you could find the bookmarked sites?

Firefox stores backed up bookmarks in your profile folder, as long as your using version 1.5 or greater. here is the path

C:\Documents and Settings\ "user" \Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ "profile folder".default
user = username
profile folder = alpha-numerically named folder

i have vista and when i go to my computer C: there is no documents and settings..... idk if its supposed to be there but i think it should.

I don't use Vista, so I would do a search for Firefox profiles, then navigate to that folder. According to what I've read everything should be under \users\default
