FF7 and vista?

Has anyone gotten Final Fantasy 7 working on windows vista? If so, how?

Good game your playing there. Anyways I'm about 90% sure it is vista compatible...try googling it.


I read here (http://www.ntcompatible.com/Final_Fantasy_VII_c522.html) that the tested operating systems for FF7 are Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64 Bit.

Though I have read some reviews about people having trouble getting it to work yet on the other hand people are having no trouble. Is your video card a GeForce or Radeon? Also can you explain what happens from when you put the CD in and on?

One last thing, a guy claimed his FF7 worked before installing DirectX 9. Maybe that's your problem?
