Can I add more fans to my case???

I am working on my first build, so I am asking TONS of questions on the forums. I am curious how I know if I can add more fans to the case??? There is currently 1 80mm fan in the rear, and a side are duct. The air duct is adjustable so you can get it closer to the processor. I was curious is this can be removed and a fan added instead.

My advice for optimal cooling in any case is to have a rear exhaust and a front intake fan. With this in mind, I'd leave your setup how it is, and add an intake fan at the front. Looking at the pictures at Newegg, there's space for two at the front, but you should only need one.

The air duct for your CPU tries to ensure that the fan is drawing air from outside, rather than inside the case. I wouldn't recommend adding another fan here, all that would do is push air onto the CPU fan.

I am curious how I know if I can add more fans to the case??? You look for all the fan ports in your particular case. In that Rosewill there are 2 fan ports in the front lower part of the case. Looks like you can install 2 more 80mm intake fans there.There is currently 1 80mm fan in the rear,It looks like you could actually put a 92mm fan in place of the 80mm on the back of the case.and a side are duct. The air duct is adjustable so you can get it closer to the processor. I was curious is this can be removed and a fan added instead.I would leave the duct there and position so that it reaches the CPU heatsink fan. It's designed to bring cool air directly to the CPU heatsink fan to help cool the CPU instead of allowing warmed up case air to be blown onto the CPU heatsink.

Why do you want to add more fan anyway? Are you having heat related problems? If not, just leave the cooling as is. The more fans you add the noisier the computer will be.

I am not having heat related problems, and don't even have my new built together yet. Building is new to me so I am just asking lots of questions.

I will say that after getting my case from UPS, I was surprised how big it is compared to the HP and Dell computers I have. LOADS of room inside too.

As I am learning more about building a computer, questions come into mind, such as the one I originally asked.

Rosewill has several nice cases. I've used the R-5604 BK on 3 builds in the last while.There is the consideration of having to much air incoming causing inefficient turbulence and noise.On the second build I even took out the front intake fan and replaced the fancy Zalman 9500 hsf with a stock hsf, because it only brought down the temps by 4 degrees! That machine only had 1 hard drive up front so there were no restrictions at the intake vent. The second build was very similar to yours and the guy I did it for has had no issues running the case with stock case fans and cpu hsf.
