Any one know if Gears of War would eventually hit the PC's?

Also if any one plays PC games with a Logitec game pad looks like the playstation game pad (wireless)

any who i play
GUN and A soccer game on my computer which look really good
any one else play any really good PC games maybe action adventure or RPG. I have Fable the lost chapter for PC and it doesnt have a game pad support which kinda pisses me off

So if you play PC games with a GAME pad let me know

Thanks

I dont think gears of war will every come out for pc. (possible, but not likely)
I dont really use games pads but i did once adapted a xbox control to work on a pc.

Command and Conquer 3 is a fun rts.
Star Wars Knights of old republic is old but wonder full rpg (kotor1 is a bit better than 2 but they are both great)
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is a large and great rpg.
Deus-Ex, the first, is My favorite game in the world! (a very old fps though)

Basically the games everyone here is talking about.

I'm not sure I follow the question. I have a Logitech Wingman controller that I have used to play Final Fantasy on my computer. Worked alright after spending a few minutes to play around with button mapping.

But overall, I'd say that gamepads really only lend themselves to some RPGs and maybe racing games. For shooters and action games, the keyboard and mouse is a much more powerful combination.

I just picked up the 360 wired controller. Wish I had gone with a Logitech or something.

No mapping software included. You have to pop for another $20 to get some. The Pinnacle software is supposed to be "best" for mapping, but there are so many layers you have to go through to make it work, I just gave up last night trying to get it to work with Quake 4.

Yeah this logitec wireless game pad is awsome... its like 60 bucks i think im trying to find another one like it but i havent been able too

Now what is this mapping i was reading a little about it..
I though if the game didnt support a gamepad that i couldnt use it...
can some one tell me alittle about the mapping

Also the COMP USA by my house went out of buisness and i manages to get me an AWSOME keyboard Logitech G15 i like it the most cause the keys have a light and now when i play at night i can have the lights off in my room completely. its regular like 120 bucks and i got it for 50 bucks seems a little too much for a key board but my borther got a Logitech Battlefield 2142 mouse with a weight system and he paid around 90 bucks...sucker i kick his ass with my 14 dollar microsoft mouse..lol

Basically it (usually) launches at startup and runs in the system tray.

It remaps keyboard and mouse-based actions (like asdw for movement) to the controller. There are supposed to be some predefined mappings (like for Quake4), but I basically couldn't get it to load ... maybe 'cause I'm using the 30-day demo. If there isn't a predefined set, then essentially you have to sit there and correlate every keyboard/mouse action to a corresponding controller button/stick. Pretty tedious stuff. But still, it's IMHO *essential* software that should be included with any controller sold. Otherwise you have a paperweight with joysticks. Listening, Microsoft?

They have an adapter that allows you to use the 360 controller on the pc. It's like 19 bucks.

yeah i see it i never seen it before, its called a profiler and i guess i would need the video game booklet to adjust or map the keyboard keys to the game pad. Thanks guys yeah i see what you mean it looks a little tedious but playing it with my game pad its worth it..

If you guys dont know by now RE4 is out for the PC and i ordered it already cant wait that is an awsome game.
