Photodeluxe business edition

I know adobe no longer supplorts photodeluxe. Is there any way to get a patch to enable using adobe photodeluxe business edition software with windows XP?

As of July 8, 2002, Adobe discontinued selling Adobe® PhotoDeluxe® Home Edition 4.0 (Windows®), 2.0 (Macintosh), and Business Edition 1.0 (Windows) software. This has allowed Adobe to concentrate on developing new and exciting products that have helped us sustain our leadership role in the digital imaging industry.

The patch if this one would come from Adobe...What are the System Requirements as far as the OS goes?

I vaguely remember having the "business" edition years ago, but don't remember anything being all that special about it. Why not upgrade to something like Paint Shop Pro 11? Best Buy is having it on sale for under $50 right now and I have seen it for cheaper, too. Heck, that is cheaper than the upgrade price from version 10!

GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/) is free and works with WinXP. It's said to be as powerful as PhotoShop.
