I recently installed Ubuntu 6.06 on my PC, and I'm having issues with my wireless adapter.
The adapter is a 2wire USB 802.11g wireless adapter. I've used it before with Windows, and I know it works.
My router/modem is a 2wire as well. I have the ESSID and the WEP, and I know they are correct, as I've used them on all my other PCs.

I used ndiswrapper to install the driver for the adapter. It now picks up my networks, but I'm still unable to connect. I selected my network in the Network manager, inputted my WEP, and it activated wlan0, but still no connection. The activity light on my adapter is usually a solid green when it's working properly, but right now its just blinking on and off continously.

I have absolutely no Linux knowledge, but I do have a basic knowledge of networking, so please keep that in mind. I appreciate greatly any help.

Where did you get the Linux driver from for that adapter?

does your router have dhcp enabled? if so, are you using dhcp on that adapter?
