I'm having a problem with our router overloading and knocking us off the internet. I can get us back on by disconnecting the power supply cord to the router and in effect "resetting" the router. I'm running two computers on a home network - both computers XP Home - wireless broadband ISP about 200 kbs - the modem is part of the wireless antenna and is proprietary(I can't access it). The cable from the wireless antenna/modem comes into the house and goes to a Netgear Cable/DSL Web Safe Router Gateway RP614v2. Two cables come out of the router - one to each computer. Router is 3 1/2 years old. This is not a big problem - it happens maybe once a week when we get a big email delivery or something like that. But, I thought I'd like to get a new router that might not be so "touchy" on handling overloads - or maybe one that at least has a reset button so I wouldn't have to be pulling out the power cord all the time. So, that is my question - Can anyone recommend a router that would do a better job for me. We don't do a lot of heavy duty uploading or downloading - mainly just email. Thanks - Cliff
