My oldest daughters machine was infected with this virus.. I ran AVG and it said if found and fixed (NO). Ran House Call it also said it fixed (NO). Adware could not find anyting period.. Spybot Search and Destroy was the only one who found almost 30 entries and was able to fix it..

Just goes to show that a group of programs is the only way to go.

Yup that is why I use more than one.. Heck I haven't had a virus on my personal pc for almost two yrs.. She ended up getting it from Bear Share.. Try telling them to dump that garbage, but she's 18 and will have to learn the hard way...

Here, here. Multiple programs for multiple protection.

Most of the kids PC's I repair are using some type of peer to peer file sharing programs (Bearshare, Limewire, etc).
I tell most of them that's it's pnly a matter of time...
Especially if they don't update and scan with their own security programs.

Her AVG is active and runing all the time.. I told her if she does any more downloads to scan the file first before she opens it.

I uninstalled also of course didn't work came right back in no time at all.

I think that's what did me in....all well. Gave me a good excuse to build a computer and trash my laptop. :D
