admin password

ok so I lost my admin password big mistake and now I've got a bootable floppy that has a password cracker on it but I do not have any instructions for it and I'm lost on how to use it.
any help is appreciated oh I have windows xp pro sp 2

thanks for the advice but I'm locked out of windows because I'm the admin and only user on the computer its on my laptop if I could get into windows I would do that but I can't even log into windows.

power on password or log on password?

on to launch the floppy just tell the BIOS to boot from FDD first. (then you will get a prompt and just type in the file name)
