Trojan horse Generic VUQ problem

A system having win xp-2 OS and kaspersky 6.0 as antivirus got infected with said virus when ever we open any file it generate a new folder.
When I tried to unstall Antivirus it does not do.Even reg edit and msconfig only blink when I use to run. Kindly advice what to do?

Can you post a HJT log? I think pcpitstop.com or pcguide.com have good help if the pros here are not available.

but if that trojan got by Kaspersky and it locking you out of basic windows processes your best option is to save what data you can and format the computer.
