Alright the last of my computer parts came in today. Right now Im installing the PSU to the case which in my opnion i can't do. PSU seems a tad bit to large. My Case is: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail
Power is: CORSAIR CMPSU-520HX ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V 2.91 520W Power Supply 100 - 240 V UL, CUL, CE, CB, FCC Class B, TUV, CCC, C-tick - Retail
Anyone else have this problem or have done same case and psu? Hope this is the last prob I have. Appreciate any help and/or reccomendations. Thanks in advance.

Which dimension is too large? Have you installed anything else in the case?

Nothing else is installed I even took out the top fan and can't get psu in there also in manual says it goes sideways and if i do that (if it did fit) the psu fan would be facing the other panel of the case? Thanks

Looking at the pictures, yes it would go sideways. If the fan is facing the back, turn it around. It's only going to screw in one way. Compare the screw holes on the PSU with the case holes and see which way it lines up.

Ive tried putting in everyway and still no luck getting ticked. Might have to cut some metal outta of it?

might...but wait on it...
have you removed the wired thing that hold the PSU in? (its like a strip of metal with a cusion), also you have to put the psu all the way to the side of the case...then slide back.

PSU seems a tad bit to large. In which direction is the PSU too large?manual says it goes sideways and if i do that (if it did fit) the psu fan would be facing the other panel of the case?Yes, the PSU is mounted vertically in the case, not horizontally. The plate that the PSU mounts to is reversible...you can flip it over so that the fan faces into the case. There are 4 bolts holding the plate to the case.

If I remember correctly, there was a stabilizer bar that came pre-attached, its not really even necessary, but take it off if it is there.
Also, if your not already, make sure your going from the inside of the case and not pushing it in from the outside.

Yes that was the bar I was taking about in our cases...it isn't necessary, but you do have to take it out before you instal it (i couldn't figure out why my PSU wouldn't go in, till I read the manual, and found out about this bar.) Personally I put it back it, but its up to you.

Sorry to take so long to reply... Theres a piece of metal that would protrude up not exactly sure how to explain it so I bent it just a tad bit the opposite way so i could slide it in. Also the main thing was I took the other panel off the case so I could more easily fit it. Felt dumb but guess a lessoned learned.
