Ok So i just Finished assembeling my Barebone Kit from Tigerdirect

LINK to the Kit (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3163629&CatId=333)

I actually have 2 problems When i screw in the Motherboard to the Tower and Connect all the parts .Then when i turn it on from the switch the Pc starts for 1 second and only the fan moves.

Now when i hold the motherboard up in the sky and press the power button then it works when i put it back down on the Tower it turns off .

Another problem is that Now when i connect the 4pin Atx Plug into my motherboard the computer does not power on

when i disconnect the 4pin atx and everything else is connected then the computer runs

but i still get No display Already Tried plugging in 2 different Pci-E cards no display and used the Intergrated Vga plug still no display

Heres the Motherboard please help me if you can if its a simply problem i dont want to return it and wait for a new one to come

When you say you are holding it up in the air, it's out of the case? Like what's outlined here (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=132409). Double check to make sure you don't have any extra standoffs (and that you do have them installed). Standoffs are those little brass doo-dads that go between the case and motherboard. Note that some cases have raised areas for a few of the holes that serve this function.

Which 4 pin plug are you talking about? The one that goes next the CPU area? It won't run (meaning the computer boots all the way) without it plugged in.

Do you have another PSU you can try? Tiger Direct isn't known for always selling quality parts. And typically power supplies bundled with cases (from any vendor) aren't quality. Does the power supply even have a 24 pin main connector (the biggest connector)? Or is it 20 pin? Looking at the picture on TD it doesn't look like the power supply is the right ATX spec.

I'd try the out of case as outlined in the link I posted. Make sure you are using bare minimum parts. If that doesn't help, I'd be looking at trying a better quality power supply. I'd consider replacing the PSU even if it isn't the culprit. I've heard some horror stories when low quality power supplies fail...

Yeah im talking about the 4pin Atx that connects the Cpu right next to the fan
and i already tried another powersupply the problem is just with the Motherboard thanks
and yeah it does have standoff's but i dont see how its only affecting me when other people are running theres in the same computer case

Some people might have already had this problem and rma'd the board if that is the problem.. What brand of psu came with the case? and what brand and wattage did you try?
