CAn't Delete File

Hey guys, I ran bit defender on my system and it found a Trojan called : Trojan.PWS.Onlinegames.AWR
in a file named : C:\Documents and Settings\Den & Jo\
Local Settings\Temp\S3_snMLek_C2rF5AM_utPdtnvTStcHx_.!!!
and bit defender could not clean or delete it. When I went to look for it I could not find it. The only file that was in that folder was this one--JAOlnCWLb_HZT_i9gkWk_9pY5wsajd6b.!!! it is 25kb in size and it is listed as a !!! File which I have never heard of before. I figured that this file is bad but it won't let me delete it :mad:

Does anyone know how I can delete this file OR should I even delete this file ?

Make sure that Defender is up to date and then boot in Safe mode and run Defender.
If this doesn't help, could go to Trend Micro for an online scan, they should have a process to remove the problem. May need to try a different anti-virus program like AVG.

It's a pretty common trick to either have the file in use so that it can't be deleted. Another thing is to make the file a system (read only file). I would download Spybot and run it in safe mode. You will probably have to reboot and have Spybot load before the file does.

Or you can download this file and right click the file/folder you want to delete and select to "unlock" it and delete it.
