Hi guys,
I am right in the middle of fixing a snafu after dealing with a company while trying to buy a hard drive.
The company in questions is eWaggle.com, aka- WAGGLE Systems. They are located at 510 S. Coralridge Place., Unit 101, City of Industry, CA 91746 . Their phone number is (626) 968-3211.
On the 6th of June I ordered a new Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6V320F0 320GB 16MB SATAII-OEM drive since they had a decent price. It wasn't long after placing the order that I received a confirmation on the order being processed. Since I did not receive a email saying the order was ready to ship,or had already shipped, I had to call "customer service" in order to find this out. This was done late in the day but still before closing time.
I called a few times and all it did was constantly ring, and I got to thinking that maybe I was calling during the wrong hours, or it was a holiday I missed. So I called them the next morning during regular business hours only to get a message that said the phone was OUT OF SERVICE! This was verified by an operator in their area code. The following Monday(11th), I contacted my bank since these morons didn't mind charging my card. At the moment my bank is investigating the company.
BTW, they apparently don't answer emails either!
Before I did business with them, I did look for feedback. What I found at first didn't seem to be unusual so I went ahead with this deal. If I had dug a little farther I would have found out how bad these guys really are! These clowns are on EBAY too under "ewaggle". Surprisingly, they have alot of good feedback, but the ones that are negative seem to be for the same reason.
Either they sent a DOA part, the wrong part, NO part at all, or were weeks late sending the part!
Needless to say, I've learned my lesson well! So far I have dealt with NewEgg, Chiefvalue, ComputerHQ, and ewave.com with excellent results. While most business was done with NewEgg (abt. 97%), the other three companies didn't let me down either! Parts arrived as promised with ZERO DOA's.
Anyway......I just wanted to give y'all a heads up on who to avoid!
