Hi guys,

I am right in the middle of fixing a snafu after dealing with a company while trying to buy a hard drive.

The company in questions is eWaggle.com, aka- WAGGLE Systems. They are located at 510 S. Coralridge Place., Unit 101, City of Industry, CA 91746 . Their phone number is (626) 968-3211.

On the 6th of June I ordered a new Maxtor DiamondMax 10 6V320F0 320GB 16MB SATAII-OEM drive since they had a decent price. It wasn't long after placing the order that I received a confirmation on the order being processed. Since I did not receive a email saying the order was ready to ship,or had already shipped, I had to call "customer service" in order to find this out. This was done late in the day but still before closing time.

I called a few times and all it did was constantly ring, and I got to thinking that maybe I was calling during the wrong hours, or it was a holiday I missed. So I called them the next morning during regular business hours only to get a message that said the phone was OUT OF SERVICE! This was verified by an operator in their area code. The following Monday(11th), I contacted my bank since these morons didn't mind charging my card. At the moment my bank is investigating the company.

BTW, they apparently don't answer emails either!

Before I did business with them, I did look for feedback. What I found at first didn't seem to be unusual so I went ahead with this deal. If I had dug a little farther I would have found out how bad these guys really are! These clowns are on EBAY too under "ewaggle". Surprisingly, they have alot of good feedback, but the ones that are negative seem to be for the same reason.

Either they sent a DOA part, the wrong part, NO part at all, or were weeks late sending the part!

Needless to say, I've learned my lesson well! So far I have dealt with NewEgg, Chiefvalue, ComputerHQ, and ewave.com with excellent results. While most business was done with NewEgg (abt. 97%), the other three companies didn't let me down either! Parts arrived as promised with ZERO DOA's.

Anyway......I just wanted to give y'all a heads up on who to avoid!

If you charged it to your credit card, request to place the transaction in dispute after it has posted to your account.

Hi HAL,

I did do that a couple days ago after it posted to my account. Right now I'm waiting for the results from my bank. I was sent a letter from the bank asking for details of the transaction which I returned this past Saturday. This afternoon I spoke to the lady that sent it to me and she went on to say that its looks good on my behalf and that she also called the customer service number only to hear the same recording as I did.

In the interim, I just wanted to warn other members of potential problems with them. Just think, you're ready to finish another build only to find out the part ya really need bad and you're not getting 'cause the company went out of business!

For retailers in the US [url=www.resellerrating.com]Reseller Rating[/com] is the definitive site to check reviews and this is what they have to say: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/eWaggle .. a 0.83/10 rating in the last 6 months.

On RR, they have a 9.82 lifetime rating though. How deceptive... it seems to me that a lot of the positive reviews are fraudulent.

Thanks for the headsup!

Ouch, the Better Business Bureau gives them an F rating (http://www.labbb.org/BBBWeb/Forms/Business/CompanyReportPage_Expository.aspx?CompanyID=13191638), which is the lowest possible.

My rating for the co would be more than just a "F". I would be a swift kick in the butt, that would send them straight to the moon..

Funny too that they have a 99.6% positive rating on Ebay. Those ratings are worthless anyway. Oftentimes the seller will be pushing to get positive feedback before they have even shipped the product.

00.83/10.00 for the last six months...ouch!!

wow...the example company name on resellerratings.com is newegg!

and the peoplet that gave them a pos rating:
one clearly mean to give neg, but looks like they messed up on the selection.
the rest of the others all seem to have had some sort of problem.
and the rest seem to all magically give terrible comments...and have only 1 rating (...probably the seller) a lot of them also seemed to magically place there order at 11:00PM
