AVG resident shield not installed - HELP!

After installing on top of Anti virus from AVG, I thought I would get rid of McAfee's f/wall, and add AVG's.

Upon installation I get this msg, resident shield not installed. Yes I have tried to re-install - to no avail.

Any ideas??

PS my AVG icon in the systray is now black / grey... This is all related, rite?

I tried uninstalling it and re-installing.... a second time. worked!

A tip for the future - when reinstalling AVG, choose Repair.
