So about 15 minutes ago i was on the internet, and then a website jumps up about insurance or something, and then it crashes. I wait for a bit but nohing happens, and task manager wont load up. So i rebooted, and started a virus scan just to be safe. Its still scanning now, and isnt near half way through, but its allready came up with two items...It (AVG) says user32.dll and shell32.dll have been changed.

Ill post again once its finished to say if it came up with anything else, but should i be worried about this? Also this is the first time i set AVG to scan system areas aswell.

RAS

Edit: Forgot to mention that i cant see anything wrong at the moment with performance. Its goi usual speed, nothings deleted, it booted up fine, and internet explorer is running without a hitch so far.

It does look like something may have had a "go" at you.
If AVG can handle it (and you're up to date with security patches) then you don't have a problem.

AVG is a good little program and when it says that user32.dll has been changed it most likely has. However when you do Windows Updates they change the system.dll and other files like that so I would follow up AVG with Spybot S&D and Ad-Aware SE just to be on the safe side.
