does anyone know of a FREE .bat to .exe converter? i found one but it adds an advertisement followed by a pause. i would rather it just start right up.

not sure if this will help but this is what I use

http://www.autoitscript.com/autoit3/

the scripting language is similiar to .bat and its free. Very easy to learn.

thats interesting i think ill try and learn it but it looks more like visual basic script to me.
know of any sights that can help me learn it? i think ill Google some but if you know of any real good ones please post them.
the converter would still be appreciated :)

The installation includes help files and examples, I learned by just doing the samples. You will be surprised on how simple it is.
