Microsoft Office 2007

I have been using MS Office 2003 and in the Microsoft Office Tools is a program called Microsoft Office Document Scanning.

When I installed Office 2007 on another computer the Office Tools section is there but the Microsoft Office Document Scanning section is non-existent.

Anyone know why it is not included and whether there is a place to get it. I have looked all through the MS downloads without finding it.

Some of the possible installed parts of the office suite were not checked during the install.

If you still have the install disk, just go back and install some more of the goodies. Instead of doing the automatic install, try the custom offering, which allows you to pick and choose the stuff installed.

BTW, for any newbies out there, same thing goes for the Windows operating system.

I should have mentioned that I had already tried that, sorry.

I was doing this for someone else on a new Dell (sigh) computer and she has a validated copy of Office 2007 from Dell, but the scanner utility is nowhere to be found. I tried the custom install but it is not on the list of items for the office tools.

I have Office 2007 Enterprise (Professional) edition and it shows up in mine just where it should be. Am going to try and find the pertinet files from my disk and see if I can extract them and add to her install.
