I have three boot options in system startup. One is duff as the drive has changed. Can I edit the startup options to direct it to the new drive letter or can I delete it?

Control Panel->System icon->Advanced tab->Startup and Recovery settings->EDIT button.

I'm using W2K. There's no edit option.

The above method is the long way to the C:\Boot.ini file:)

I guess the rdisks start at 0 [ie SATA 1 is 0 and SATA 2 is 1] and the partitions start at 1?

many thanks,
