Motherboard recommendation.

I would like to build a new computer. The last computer that I built had an Asus motherboard and an Intel P4 processor.

I would like to know if anyone could recommend another brand since I had support issues with Asus. I want to spend about $200 for the board. I will be using the computer for: business, wordprocessing, Excel, PowerPoint, still photos, Photoshop, graphics, video transfer, not much gaming. I want about 4GB of memory on the board, a good graphics card (like Geforce), Dazzle video creator, about a 500GB hard drive. Also: high speed internet and wireless router

Should I use an Intel or AMD processor? Which one is more reliable?
Is everything Dual Core Tech these days?

intel is less power consumption less heat better performance cost more thou i hear e6600 is good yes everything is dual core :) that i know of
i hear asus p5b is stable and great or something but this brand was the only one i ever heard recommended on this forum D: and i dont think youll need 4gb of ram...

It's all the other parts you choose that will impact reliability, especially the motherboard, RAM and most importantly the power supply.Is everything Dual Core Tech these days?No, not everything...we have Quad Core processors showing up now.
