Just purchased an AMD Athlon 3700 cpu at a local computer shop. Have any of you guys ran with this in the past and how did it perform for you. This chip will max out my board and is the end of the upgrade path for me on the box that was my first build. Going from a 3200 to this so will there be a significant performance jump in graphics? Running with a 7600gt card, 1 gig Corsair Value Select , but just a basic MSI board. Thanks for any imput!

Checked out the prices these are fetching, and after the test run, decided to sell it and buy an Intel e4300 for the new build. Was faster but nothing like I'll be getting on the new main use build.

Just purchased an AMD Athlon 3700 cpu .... Going from a 3200 to this so will there be a significant performance jump in graphics? ... A little after the fact, but no, going from a 3200+ to a 3700+ will not blow your hair back: they are too close in speed.
