Hey all!
I just complete my first pc build and I'm having a problem with windows seeing my Hard drive and Dvd drive as removable hardware. Everything functions correctly, but I've never seen this before so I was just wondering if you guys had any ideas on what the problem might be.

My first thought was maybe it was the way I connected the cables, I don't think this is the issue now because there is pretty much only one way to plug them in.

Everything in the BIOS looks correct as well...Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!

Thanks!

So don't worry about it, that's normal.

So the little "Safely Remove Hardware" Icon will permanently be on my taskbar?

Thanks for the help!

Yes, but you can hide it. Head into your taskbar properties with a right click. Click the Customize button and you can hide the icon. :)
