Hey,

Right now my main harddrive is my C drive, but its full. So my computer is running slow, and I can't do much. Is there a way to make my D drive the main drive? I have lots of room on that one...

Im not exactly sure what you mean by making D your main drive. A drive is a drive, you can put data and programs on the D: drive just as easily as you can put them in C: if its full.
If you want you can also change the location of "My Documents" so you dont always have to navigate to the D: drive to save stuff.

no I mean, that my computer won't let me do stuff, because my C drive is full it says it needs more space, So why can't it get the space from the D drive

The default primary drive is C.
Windows isn't using the D drive because you haven't told it to and you do that by either moving files to it or installing programs on it .
You're going to have to move some data files to your D drive ( do not move the installed programs ) or else you will have to uninstall some programs and then reinstall them on the D drive and not all programs will permit that.
If it's just a back up fie, which shouldn't be on your C drive anyway, it can just be dragged and dropped to the D drive ( Create folders on D first!).
If it's something like iTunes, then there are specific steps you must take in order to create a path so that iTunes can find and play the music library once you move it.
Tell us what you want to do and we'll tell you how to go about it.

Well I have been installing new programs on the D drive, and I moved my pics and music too.

How large is your C drive and how much space is free on it?

Game over.
Either remove at least 3 GB of 'data' from that drive or get a larger one and clone the install to it.
What OS are you using and what's the largest drive your computer can handle ?

I have XP home edition. But the thing is, that my computer and moniter are all one piece.

But Why 3 gb?

A hard drive past the 3/4 full mark begins a drastic loss of functionality.
This isn't written in stone but an operating system must have space for "housekeeping" chores and once you go over the 3/4 mark it no longer does.
In effect if the drive has 13 GB of space then it's limit is at around the 10 GB mark.
What is the make and model of your computer ?

Oh, it may yet be possible to upgrade to a larger hard drive...

You can contact any computer store about that...

Dig out the manual.
Without knowing which one you've got it's hard to tell what size hard drive it can support.
What size is your second hard drive ?
We need some idea of it's possible limits.
