How to contact MS for warranty on mouse

I have a Microsoft 6000 laser notebook mouse. I was in Best Buy yesterday trying to find out how to contact Microsoft regarding warranty for my mouse. They were unable to help me. On the product package it just lists. www.microsoft.com/hardware. I went there and they just want to sell me their products. Does anyone know if Microsoft has a phone number or a way to contact them regarding warranty issues? Thanks.

flanzig1, thanks for your help. I was able to contact microsoft by phone which was better than email. I must say that I spoke with someone in New Brunswick, Canada who was very helpful and personable.
