I'm trying to burn a dvd here and I have a question. I have never tried to
play or use a dvd in the drive but it says it's a DVD+RW/DVD-RW. It's a
TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H552B. So I put the dvd in the drive and it spins up.
It takes a little bit longer than a cd but not much. It seems like it
detects it, but when I click on the drive icon it says that the disk has 0
bytes of free space. Can anyone help?

Does the DVD already have something on it?

What burning software are you using?

Nope the DVD is blank. I was going to use NERO but I can't do that because it doesn't recognize any disk space on the DVD at all.

*I even went out and bought a new set of blank DVD's just to make sure :(

Some more info may help... What type of media are you trying to use? "Nero" is now about 25 or so applets... which are you using?

Open Nero's Burning ROM and click on Recorder, then on Disc Info. Change to the correct drive if needed. What does it say?
