For the last two days, every time I post I get the "you're posting too quick" screen. I'm not double clicking. Also, I'm getting a lot of blank pages when I click on a new post using "New Posts"

??

TIA :)

It went away before I did the clearing, but cleared anyway last night. All was good until a few minutes ago as the "posting too quick" is happening again...

I have not seen this issue, but you think this may have something to do with it?

Well, it has also been a little slow but not enough to "bother" me. It could still be something on my end (I'm still having trouble with Newegg) so I'll try some test posts with my laptop over in General Discussion. Please delete any I posted with "testing" as the supject. Now to find the laptop...

Edit: I did a thread and a couple of posts with this box, but didn't have any problems. Please delete that one. If I have troubles again, I'll try the laptop just for comparison.

Well, the problem sure seems to be with my desktop, as I'm still having trouble, but none while posting with the laptop in a side-by-side test.

Any other ideas?

What browser are you using?

Firefox 2.0.0.4 on both. I'm using IE 6 for a test on this post, on the desktop.

edit: just editing in IE to see what happens.

I did a post with IE seconds ago, no problem; this is with FF for another test...

and it didn't work... if I click on the link up top , above "reply to thread" then the posting too quick window will close and show the thread normally. Or I can go back one, and hit refresh and the post will be there.

*** edit *** This time, I hit the "Save Changes" button (the screen is like when you are in the Advanced editing area) and did get a double post...

Why don't you just use the quick reply?

I do, but it throws me to the "posting too quick" window, which comes up basically the same as the Advance window.

It did it again, so I grabbed a screen shot (I used a smaller window than normal to reduce file size):

I don't have a clue because it never happens to me.

I'm clueless also.. but at least today it's all good as it's working just fine !?! Thanks for you efforts.

Just an update. It worked fine all week, but now that it's the weekend, it's doing the same thing. Coincidence I wonder..?
