im looking for a new mouse for my macbook. wired or wireless doesnt really matter but wireless i would want a good battery life. im hoping to spend around or under $50 US. i want something with programable buttons i can use for dashboard and expose, and i dont want one of those tiny travel thing i already have one of them im lookin for one to use at home on my desk. and on a sidenote have any of you used the wave keyboard from logitech? i was wondering whether you found any difference in comfort.

==edit==

i have found these 2 and they look like they might be what im looking for but im just wondering id ill be able to set the Forward/Back buttons to open up dashboard and expose.

I usually recommend the LX 7 for anyone looking for a full-size mouse for use with a notebook - largely because it comes with a mini USB receiver. It's a good quality mouse - I'm not so keen on the position of the back and forward buttons for that particular use, but if you wanted to re-assign them anyway, that's less of an issue. The Logitech software for Windows has steadily improved - now you can assign most buttons to most functions, but I can't comment on the Mac software.
