Laptop Connects to the Wireless Net...but Internet will not work.

My laptop finds and connects to the SSID, but the internet does not work. I checked Norton and made sure the SSID is not blocked,but it still doesn't work. Changed my WEP code, still doesn't work. I'm getting confused.

have a look at the connections in internet tools\options at the connection tab, is is set to never dial a connection?

Can you access the router controls from the router? It's usually 192.168.1.1

If you can, then it means the problem is between router and internet provider or modem. If you cannot, then there's something with the router and/or PC settings.

Yes, I can access my router settings. Also, wired connections work from the router, if that helps any. My Nintendo Wii nor my Laptop can access the internet. But when I tried my neighbors network, it worked. So it must be my router.
