Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my pc. Here is a little description of whats going on.
Update my cards driver 7800GTX
Restarted my computer and after the OS bootscreen I got a blue screen.
I'm not sure what happened. Can someone please help me out?

What does the blue screen say?
Can you boot into safe mode? (press F8 after the BIOS)
If so, you ought to be able to remove the new drivers and install the old ones.

It didn't say anything. I put the pc in safe mode and rolled back the driver and everything is fine. But there are some pretty useful items in that driver that I can use. Should I have unistalled previous drivers?

Oh. I thought you meant a BSOD error.
Should I have unistalled previous drivers?
Technically yes, but it usually works if you don't. I would try again, but uninstall the old ones first. Are these new drivers Beta drivers? If not, they should certainly work.
Remove the old drivers by right clicking on the video card in the device manager and selecting 'uninstall'.

I'd definitely uninstall old video card drivers before upgrading - and I suggest you do this from add/remove programs. If you want to be thorough, you could also try the free application Driver Cleaner Pro - which removes all trace of the old driver from the system. Then it's just a simple matter of rebooting and installing the new ones.
