I heard a good idea while listening to a talk radio show this afternoon.
If we find and kill Bin Laden, he will be a martyr(sic) to his followers. If we try him and put him in prison, Americans will be kidnapped all over the world to secure his release.
The idea is to take him to Trinidad, Co. perform a sex change operation, and then send him back.
It would be interesting as to how he would be treated. He would have to wear a veil, no education, and generally be treated as a second-class citizen.:)

Carl, I've dealt with seemingly crazy folks most of my life. Laden and his kind, though aren't crazy (clinically), but even more dangerous as fanatics and disillusioned nuts who believe strongly in their cause. Operating in cells, I'm not sure anyone knows how to deal with them. We used to call them guerrillas. Anyone can fight a standing army, but these kind of guys are difficult.

If they catch him, just smear pig blood over him; that supposedly prevents him from entering his Heaven and is a worse fate than death. The sex change op is interesting...

Wait.
Bin and all the others we catch now we give the sex change operation. We also give then all the other benefits of western surgical expertise to make them beautiful too.
Now we need to put them all in a secure area - lets call it the afterlife.

Now all the followers we catch from then on can have their dream of lovely virgins just waiting for them. :D

Now like a good episode of mission impossible we need to be sure they all believe that it is the true afterlife. ;)

Carl, since you started it, why not start a new thread called "What to do with Laden?" I suggest he be forced to work for Hillary for awhile, after helping 12 hours day in cleaning up the mess in New York. Sleep with pigs at night, all the while contemplating what his end will be.

The pages I've read claimed that is how various governments have combatted Muslim suicide terrorists in the past. They declare that any terrorist remains will be burried wrapped in a pig's skin. Supposedly Muslims believe that will keep them from entering heaven. Not sure if that's acctually accurate or just a web-rummor that's been floating around for the last week or so.

I remember reading about Black Jack Pershing. His men, before executing the same type folks as Laden, dipped their bullets in pig blood, shot 'em, then threw the pig remains into the graves with the dead. I guess it has some meaning to them...

In that they actually break the people before they kill them, so they they dont make martyrs out of them. Its a bit inhumane (they had to go through months of tourture), but in the end they caused them to love The Party.

If they did not make martyrs,then theres no problem with killing them, or even letting them live.

For some reason, I don't care for the idea of doing that to Bin Laden. I'm more scared of the US government getting in the habit of "breaking" it's opposition, than I am of Bin Laden becoming a martyr.
