i followed all instruction as i could and i after three hours of hard work with cutting fingers and bleeding on three fingers, i turned on the computer. led comes on, motherboard has green light, fans all work. but nothing shows up on the monitor. i thought there was problem with the graphics card. so i put in another one and still the same. i put in another one, yet the same. and i tried 4 different graphics cards and all show same result... basically, most importantly, computer seems to run but nothing shows up on the monitor... brand new, just built. never been able to see... no bios configure no nothing yet...

system config:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6850 3.0Ghz
Intel D975XBX2 Intel Core 2 Duo Ready Socket 775 ATX Motherboard
BFGTECH 650W PSU
4 x 1GB Corsair XMS Extreme
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series Sound Card
Western Digital raptor x 150gb 10000rpm

tried following graphics cards:
NVIDIAEVGA 8800GTS 640mb
NVIDIA XFX 8800GTS 320mb
ATI GECUBE X1600pro 512mb
ATI (dell) X300

yeah ive read that before i posted and i saw the similar (or may be exactly the same) problem posted already by mnorris.

he says he was able to fix it by changing the jumper settings... i did the same, but no result at all.....

ok.

is the fan on the graphics card spinning?

have you tried a different monitor? or do you know for sure the monitor works and the cable is good?

is the graphics card seated properly?

graphics card is seated properly, and they work fine on my other computer... after all it is hard to misplace 4 different graphics cards in a row (and tried multiple times for each so i tried putting them into slot about 15~20 times now)... and yes the fan runs on the graphics card as well...
i tried using my old CRT monitor as well as my LCD monitor, the same result...

Did you remove the motherboard from the case? You have to remove the motherboard from the case to determine if it's shorting/grounding out to the chassis or not.

Did you plug in all necessary motherboard power connectors?

the 1X4 Molex connector thats in the corner by the rear I/O section needs to be hooked up,

( I know you techies probably already checked it. just thought I'd throw something in )

i think i found out what the problem is. e6850 proccessor is 1333mhz and my motherboard only supports up to 1066... i just RMAed my processor and ordered e6600 instead. i will see if it works then.
