i am thinkin to buy this stuff for my new pc:

cpu: amd athlon 64 x2 400+ am2 (2.1 ghz, 1024K, am2)
mobo: asus M2A-VM (amd690G, glan, sata, raid, vga, am2)
ram: corsair ddr2 667 1024 mb
gfx: msi 256 mb geforce nx8600 gt (pci-e, ddr3)
case: asus ta231 300 W black.

all for $464. so anything here i should add or remove or change?

What will you be using this PC For? What is your price range?

i forgot to mension that

my pc is a crap. its dimension 8200 now. with 1.7 ghz, pentium 4, tnt2 video card, 624 mb(rddr ram). my a6600 gt video card craped out so i lost it (and got my money back :D )
so i found out that my pc is old and i need to change my power supply if i need to buy a new video card and screw that (takes a lot of money since my power supply is different too)

so i said let me change my pc (buy mobo, video card, case, proc., power supply)
and made this list. now i wanna ask u guys that if the list is good to go or not.
btw i live in europe. but if i really need it i can order it from usa.
(i dont need stuff like, monitor, speakers,hd.......)

So you still didn't answer my question...are you using old parts, or are you buying all new parts? If your using old parts, please list what parts and the make/model. If your buying new parts, please post all the new parts you picked. Follow the list I posted above.

I have not built AMD but I understand that you really need to use 800 ram, not 667 with an AMD build for the best performance. Ram prices are cheep right now so that should not add much to your budget.

What is your total budget?

If you post a budget posters can try to build you up the best bang for the buck. From what you have listed so far it sounds like you need the entire box and will not be re-using any components from your current system except monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Is that correct?
