Is there any way i can get my keyboard's din plug to be a usb. I have cut the end of a usb cord off hoping i could connect those cords to the din plug. I didn't have any luck really but the keyboard did get some power because i saw the caps lock and all of those other ones light up too. but i couldn't get it to type. The usb has four wires one red, green, white, and one black. I don't know where to put these on the din to make it work. So if anyone has any advice please say it. i am trying to get this to work for my ps3.

How about a ps2 to usb adapter like this one (http://www.cyberguys.com/templates/searchdetail.asp?productID=4260)?

Or just buy a cheap USB keyboard for about the same price.

In reply to GLC's post, Mini Din and PS/2 are the same; DIN and PS/2 are different. Do you have a DIN keyboard or a PS/2 (mini din) keyboard? [I beleive you ment mini din]

Heres the pin assignments.
This article also says something about the signaling between the DIN and USB not working.
