My Logitech G11 keyboard works during BIOS setup on my new build, but not when setting up Windows. The keyboard has power, but when I unplug it and try different USB ports, it doesn't receive power anymore. I restart the computer and it receives power again, but the same problem persists. Here are my specs:
Mobo: Asus P5K LGA 775 Intel P35
Keyboard: Logitech G11 USB Gaming Keyboard
OS: Windows XP Professional w/SP2
If anymore info is needed, don't hesitate to ask. This isn't a critical problem, so don't rush an answer. Thank you for your time.

might want to try updating the software from logitech website.
also might want to see if you can plug something els in those usb ports to make sure they ar working properly.
also check device manager to see what it says under keyboards.

Do you have another keyboard you can try (USB or PS/2)?

Sweet! I used my brother's PS/2 keyboard and it worked! Problem now is the sound: the Realtek drivers won't install from the Asus disk. It doesn't even give any sort of error; it just just says it failed. My motherboard has the Realtek ALC 883 chipset.
:( And I was so close, too...

Try downloading it from the website, enter in your motherboard in the realtek website, download, install, enjoy, then cry when it doesn't work, as is the case with most computers.

I just realized the problem and now I feel like an idiot.:o
My new build isn't connected to the internet yet. I noticed, during the installation process, a small progress bar pops up. In the nanosecond that it appears, I think I can read something about searching for an internet connection. However, I neither have a hard line or a wireless card.
So once I can get a line hooked up to my computer, I guess I'll have to wait for sound.
Oh well...
