Need new video card - 300W

I am looking to replace my Radeon x1300 256mb, but my computer's power supply is only 300w. Is there a card out there that is better than the x1300 but won't need more than 300w of power? Any help is appreciated.

You're not going to get much better than a x1300 on a 300 watt PSU. You could probably upgrade fine to a 7600GT but the performance increase would be hardly worth it.

I'd say just upgrade to a 450-550 watt PSU and get a nice card.

If it's a dell E520 or similar, please note that it will not fit a dual slotted card like a 8800.

It's a Compaq Presario. Are PSU's hard to install? Expensive? I've upgraded video cards and RAM before, but that's about it...

Tell us what model you've got and it's specs.
That's the only way we can tell you if replacing the power supply and the video card will be worth the cost.
