Hi after removing my graphic card from the PC, I can't turn it on, it only shows a blank screen. I ve plug the monitor cable to the motherboard graphic board but it still doesn't work. I then put back the graphic card, when I turn the PC on, it bootup halfway and goes off.
I do not wish to use the said geforce graphic card, but I wish to use back the motherboard graphic, can anybody tell me how? The screen is blank...
Thanks plz.
The MB's BIOS may be configured to use an external video card. If so, and the video card is either bad or it's overloading the PS, then you can reset the BIOS back to its default setting where it's configured to to use the onboard graphics by removing and reinstalling a specific MB jumper(see MB's documentation for the correct jumper). If you do not have the MB's documentation, then removing the MB's CMOS battery for a few minutes does the same thing.

What goes off? The monitor or the computer? When the monitor is black, is the actual computer still running? Please post your system specs including the type of video card and the motherboard.

You may need to clear the CMOS to get the on-board video going.
When you were working on the computer, did you unplug the power cord from the wall outlet or power strip?
