DVD Drive Problem?

Hi I just intalled windows Vista Ultimate a couple days ago on my computer and my LG dvd burner was working fine but i just noticed that the drive is not there any more when i go to device manager and tried uninstalling it and restart the computer it detects it and then it says unable to install new hard drive in device manager this is exactly what it says in there "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)" how do i fix this plz from anyone...:eek:
