Help with netgear SC101 storage

Man i have try everything and anything to get this working but for some reason i can't upgrade my firmware on this decevice

my storage devices works fine with the old software but for some reason on the new software i just can't run it , i think it is due to firmware upgrade as i get a message stating must upgrade firmware inorder for SCM to work properly

the only error message i get is firmware upload failed.

i have check this site out and now luck http://kbserver.netgear.com/products/sc101v1.asp

I have try manual upgrade and this does not work . my current version is 4.22

If it works fine with the old version, why are you trying to update it?

I have mix node on my home network , Windows XP and windows Vista{the crap of all OS} LOL and guess where the problem is , its with windows Vista.

that why i need to upgrade the firmware so it works fine with Vista{the crap of all OS}

You probably have to contact Netgear support directly.

Thats what i want to avoid as i have to paid £ 15 pounds for 30 minutes support over the phone.

not good service from netgear.
