I've seen a couple posts saying this board has problems with "Cons: ASUS website and Crucial said the Crucial Ballistics -1065 2GB DDR2-1066 ram would work, but nope, has problems. Just watch out for that" memory and I bought "CRUCIAL BALLISTIX BL2KIT12864AA804 2GB KIT (1GB x 2) MATCH PAIR PC26400 800MHZ 4gig" and would like to know if this is going to work or am I going to have to return it and get something else. Tried to check ASUS website for info but as of 7AM it was down.

Corsair is the way to go, I have used it in all my builds even if it is not listed with ASUS and never had a problem.. Curicial makes quality ram, and I'm surprised you had problems...

SL1CKZ I've installed the ram and have had no problems with it being seen so it seems to work fine.

The recommended ram for the Intel P965/P35/X38 chipsets for best stability is DDR2-800 CAS 5 1.8 or 1.9 volt unless you are going to be seriously overclocking.
