You will need a quality PSU. check this out for some info: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=131195
Might want to look into a Retail optical drive. That will provide you with software. Lite-On drives are highly recommended here.
Don't forget a HD, or an OS.
Will you also need a mouse, keyboard?
What is the purpose of this build? Gaming?
What is your budget?

Here's a link to a Lite On drive:

You don't need the retail if you already have Nero, OEM will do just fine.

my power supply unit is 550watts.What brand is it? 550 watts is probably fine for what you want to build but if it's not a high quality unit you could be putting the other parts at risk of damage at some point.

That PSU may not be an ATX2.0 standard which has the 24 pin main connector AND a 4 or 8 pin CPU power connector. ATX2.0 units are the standard supply for modern motherboards. ATX 2.0 PSUs will also have SATA and PCI-E power connectors, ATX12v PSUs may not have these type of connectors.

Will it be compatible for the new gear i have in mind ^^

It may or may not be useable. Take a look at the ratings sticker on the PSU, if it is an ATX 2.0 then the 12v amp rating should be in the 25 to 30 amp range(older versions may only have 20amps or less). If the supply only has the 20+4 main power connectors, it's an older version and not useable in the system you are specing out.

I don't know much about PSU's but it seems to me that would be fine, 30A on the +12v rail.
I would not use it - even though it does have 30a on the +12, it's single rail and most likely NOT ATX 2.0 compliant.

How much do they cost that means it'l be 450 + what ever the PSU cost's.

Also is there no way i can check that its not ATX compatible.
It's ATX compatible but probably not ATX 2.0 compatible. Can you find a link somewhere to it?

I cudn't even find a link to this PSU, but found alot of people who had one. Most people didn't like them at all, found they came with cheap cases and felt too light for good quality.
You might want to look at this PSU:

For the record, ColorsIT units are cheap junk, they come bundled with a few brands of cases over here - I've seen a 350w unit that was as light as a feather.
I'll second the recommendation for the Corsair HX520

Switch the NEC drive for the Lite-On one I linked previously. Everything comes with what it needs you won't need anymore cables etc.

Being from the UK these are the sites I used, both excellent.
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/
http://www.ebuyer.com/
I bought all my equipment from both. Including a 19" Screen it cost me £750.
