In Kentucky, by law, anyone who has been drinking is "sober" until he or she "cannot hold onto the ground."
Also in Chico California
Detonating a nuclear device within the city limits results in a $500 fine.

I have had loads of chuckles over the years reading about dumb laws.

One of my favourites from Utah:
76-6-105. Causing a catastrophe.
(1) Any person who by explosion, fire, flood, avalanche, collapse of a building, release of poison gas, radioactive material, or other harmful or destructive force or substance, or by any other means, causes a widespread injury or damage to persons or property is guilty of causing a catastrophe.
(2) Causing a catastrophe is a felony of the second degree if the person causes it knowingly and a class A misdemeanor if caused recklessly.
Enacted by Chapter 196, 1973 General Session

I've noticed some of the more crazy laws were made in the 60's and 70's.

They passed a law here in TN that says that you have to be embalmed before you are cremated. Big suprise the family of the one that introduced the bill owned several funeral homes. He is now on his way to jail for taking a bribe.

IMO the really wacky laws seem to be in response to some sort of societal change and the 60's and 70's certainly had quite a few.
Ditto for the introduction of the car, movies and TV as well as the introduction of "leisure" time for the worker.

Certain of those dumb laws are unsubstantiated, and in fact incorrect. Still makes one laugh though

Allegedly most London taxi drivers are operating illegally, as they do not carry hay to feed the horse.
